HC Deb 19 October 1981 vol 10 c22W
Mr. Kilroy-Silk

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if the arrangements for senior registrars in forensic psychiatry to receive training in prison establishments have yet been finalised; and, if not, when he expects them to be completed.

Mr. Mayhew:

Arrangements for National Health Service senior registrars in forensic psychiatry to receive training in prison department establishments are made locally. All full-time prison medical officers have recently been asked to assist with the provision of training facilities and have been given guidance on the content of the training which might be provided.
