§ Mr. Luce:Her Majesty's Government have repeatedly made clear their wish to see an early end to the violence in El Salvador and the attainment of a just political settlement through the holding of elections.
77WHer Majesty's Government share the concern expressed in the resolution for the plight of Salvadorean refugees, have donated £100,000 to the International Committee for the Red Cross and will shortly be seeking parliamentary approval to provide £100,000 to a similar programme for Salvadorean refugees organised by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
