§ Mr. Wyn RobertsWe have received representations from five individuals, including a petition with 1,083 signatures, two Members of Parliament, Swansea/Lliw Valley community health council and Swansea East constituency Labour Party about the intention of West Glamorgan health authority to implement its earlir decision to arrange the fluoridation of water supplies. Government policy is to encourage health authorities to fluoridate water. The introduction of local fluoridation schemes is a matter for individual health authorities.
