§ Mr. StanleyAccording to the figures reported by local authorities in the West Midlands at the end of September 1981, an estimated 1,762 new dwellings were under construction for housing associations in the West518W Midlands region. Corresponding figures from the same source at the end of 1978, 1979, and 1980 were 4,355, 4,895 and 3,861, respectively.
