§ Mr. MacGregorThe criteria which my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Industry is required to take into account when designating development areas and intermediate areas are laid down in section 1(2) and (3) of the Local Employment Act 1972, as amended by section 13(1) of the Industry Act 1972. The criteria in respect of special development areas are laid down in section 1(4) of the Industry Act 1972.
