§ Mr. Gray656 persons have attended the Scottish Offshore Training Association's—SCOTANS—course for helicopter landing officers since its commencement in April 1976.
Offshore companies also recruit trained ex-Service personnel as helicopter landing officers.
We have no immediate information as to the percentage of helicopter landing officers, currently employed offshore, who have attended the SCOTANS course. Such records are not kept.
