HC Deb 23 November 1981 vol 13 c313W
Mr. George Robertson

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the purchase price to the United Kingdom for each Trident missile purchased from the United States Government; and how this compares with the cost to the United States Navy.

Mr. Nott

I have made it clear in the House on a number of occasions that we are still studying the final configuration of the United Kingdom Trident force. I shall announce our decisions, and their cost implications, in due course.

Mr. Gordon Wilson

asked the Secretary of State for Defence where he plans that Trident submarines should be refitted.

Mr. Blaker

I have nothing to add to the answer given to the hon. Member for Dunfermline (Mr. Douglas) on 10 July 1981.—[Vol. 8, c.237.]
