§ Mr. ChannonThe sum allocated to the Scottish Arts Council by the Arts Council for 1981–82 is £9.3 million, representing a 12 per cent. increase over the previous year's allocation of £8.3 million. The amount finally granted to the Scottish Arts Council by the Arts Council in 1980–81 was just over £8.5 million.
