asked the Secretary of State for the Environment why in the right-to-buy statistics given in his answer to the right hon. Member for Norwich, North on 13 November, nil returns or no information is recorded for the following housing authorities (a) Barrow-in-Furness, (b) Bexley, (c) Blackpool, (d) Bracknell, (e) Brighton, (f) Castle Point (g) Cheltenham, (h) Eastbourne, (i) Epsom and Ewell, (j) Gillingham, (k) Hillingdon, (l)Luton, (m) Mid-Suffolk, (n) Liverpool, (o) Sefton, (p) Sevenoaks, (q) South Wight, (r) Thanet, (s) Tonbridge and Malling, (t) Penwith, (u) Redbridge and (v) Tamworth; and if he will state for each of these authorities whether the figures indicate that no information has been received by him or whether no claims have been received by the authority.

Where no information is recorded, the local authority had not submitted the information for the June 1981 quarter. All those local authorities which submitted nil returns are selling under voluntary arrangements.
