§ Mr. RidleyYes. As announced in the Treasury Minute responding to the Twelfth Report of the Public Accounts Committee, Cmnd 8413, in the period up to 1984 the Inland Revenue will be deploying some 400 staff in this way. The ultimate salary cost will be about £3 million per annum.
