HC Deb 19 November 1981 vol 13 c219W
Mr. Parry

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on his recent vist to Liverpool.

Mr. Heseltine

I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Rutland and Stamford (Mr. Lewis) on Wednesday 28 October—[Vol. 10 c. 391]. I visited Liverpool again on Friday 13 November for general discussions with representatives of the Merseyside county council; and for discussions on housing at the Liverpool city council, at which representatives from the Knowsley and Wirral councils were also present. I also announced details of six community refurbishment schemes.
