§ Mr. Hoyleasked the Prime Minister (1) what representations she has received from the tobacco industry relating to sports sponsorship and the advertising of their products:
(2) what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards the sponsorship of sporting events by the tobacco industry.
§ The Prime MinisterI have received no representations from the tobacco industry. Government policy is to deal with such sponsorship by means of a voluntary agreement with that industry.
