§ Mr. AlisonInformation about the numbers of registered disabled people in individual firms is obtained in confidence, and cannot be disclosed without the consent of the firm concerned.
However, on 1 June 1981, the latest date for which information is available, 926 or 40 per cent. of employers in Greater Manchester subject to the 1944 Act employed at least 3 per cent. registered disabled people. We have no information about the numbers of disabled people in employment who are not registered.
