§ Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he plans to introduce a flexible system for controlling general practitioner prescribing by introducing a spending limit which family practitioner committees will have to balance in the case of general practitioner over spending by initiating cutbacks elsewhere.
