§ The Solicitor-General for ScotlandThe increase in the upper financial limit in the summary cause was effected by an Order in Council, the Sheriff Courts (Scotland) Act 1971 (Summary Cause) Order 1981, S.I. 1981/842. Before this order was made, a draft of it was laid before Parliament and was approved by a resolution of each House.
