§ Mr. RifkindMy right hon. Friend has recently had discussions about Prestwick with the chairman of the British Airports Authority. We have also now offered Strathclyde region financial assistance for costs associated with electrification of the Ayr line. We shall continue to give what practical assistance we can to ensure a secure and successful future for Prestwick airport.
