§ Mr. Tilleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many tax-paying lone parents with a child or children in local authority care were entitled to claim one parent benefit (a) every week, because their child was at home for two consecutive nights each week, and (b) for some weeks in the year, when their child was at home for at least a week at a time, in the latest year for which figures are available.
