§ Dr. Edmund Marshallasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department on what grounds the number of assistant commissioners to the Parliamentary Boundary Commission for England was recently increased from 35 to 43.
§ Mr. MayhewThe increase was made at the request of the commission, which considered such action to be necessary if it was to complete the holding of all local inquiries into its provisional recommendations and its general review of parliamentary constituencies by the end of 1982.
