§ Mr. WigginSince 1969, 461 Servicemen have been killed and 3, 710 have been injured as a result of terrorist attacks in Northern Ireland. Information about casualties outside Northern Ireland for the same period is not readily available. However, in 1981, 8 soldiers have been injured, all in the bomb attack on the Irish Guards in London and the Commandant General Royal Marines was similarly attacked.
