§ Mr. Wheelerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in view of the increasing number of cases of harassment, particularly in inner London, he will carry out a review of the Protection from Eviction Act 1977, with a view to giving better protection to tenants from all forms of harassment.
§ Sir George YoungWe are not at present convinced that a review of the Act is needed. If my hon. Friend has evidence of significant problems with the operation of the Act, I should be glad to consider it.
