§ 50. Mr. Canavanasked the Attorney-General, in view of recent information about the espionage activities of Mr. Leo Long and the fact that he was not prosecuted, in respect of how many other persons it was decided to bring no prosecutions.
§ The Attorney-GeneralI can only repeat the statement I made on 21 November 1979 that in security cases there has been one immunity granted since the war. There are, of course, other cases where it was decided to bring no prosecution because there was insufficient evidence or the offender was not within the jurisdiction.
