§ The Solicitor-General for ScotlandWhile there are no plans to issue instructions specifically related either to tape recording of interrogations or to questioning under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1980, my right hon. and learned Friend the Lord Advocate and I are discussing with Scottish chief constables whether we should issue guidance on questioning and interrogation in general.
