§ Mr. YoungerThe long-term future of the fishing industry depends on the satisfactory negotiation of a common fisheries policy for which I and my right hon. Friend are continuing to work. In the meantime, the industry stands to benefit from the payment of aid totalling £25 million under the fishing vessel temporary support scheme 1981.
