§ Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when he proposes to implement the proposals he announced last year to allow cut price sales of milk in schools; and what methods he envisages using to encourage school and local education authorities to take advantage of the European Economic Community subsidy of 8p per pint of milk drunk by children in schools.
§ Mr. Peter WalkerA substantial number of authorities are already taking advantage of the Community subsidy, but, although certain difficulties still have to be resolved, I hope it will be possible to announce shortly details of the arrangements I have in mind to increase the provision of milk to schoolchildren.
