§ Mr. Peter Rees[pursuant to his reply, 5 May 1981,c. 41] In 1979 traders with turnover less than £50,000 who normally pay tax to Customs and Excise paid 4 per cent. of total gross payments. Traders with turnover less than £50,000 who normally claim repayments of tax received 7 per cent. of total repayments.
