§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe supplementary levy for milk as proposed by the Commission and supported by the Government in this year's price fixing would have had a similar effect by applying to producers in member States adding to the surplus. In future discussions, we shall advocate changes which seem appropriate to the circumstances of individual sectors.
