Most school leavers in these areas register at the Kings Lynn and Dereham careers offices, which cover a somewhat wider area. The following table gives the numbers of unemployed school leavers under 18 years of age registered at these offices at April each year from 1973, the earliest date for which information is available. The table also includes a few who registered at employment offices.
