§ 33. Mr. Hardyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will increase National Health Service provision to ensure that adequate numbers of hospital units for the younger disabled are established.
§ Dr. VaughanHospital units for younger disabled people are extremely important, but it is even more important that we should develop services to enable them to remain at home, wherever possible, both allowing them to lead a full life and reducing the requirement for additional hospital units.
