§ Dr. Roger Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Wales, in the light of the proposed changes for community health services and the resultant diminishing importance of community medicine, what plans he has and at what level he intends to introduce measures to counter shortcomings in the general medical services, so far as they affect the lower socio-economic groups.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsMy right hon. Friend's plan is to continue to improve health services including general medical services according to the resources that the country can afford. The importance of community health services and community medicine will not be diminished as a result of his reorganisation proposals.
