§ 35. Dr. M. S. Millerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what progress has been made in filling the outstanding vacancies in the Medicines Inspectorate.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinAn additional inspector was due to take up post on 30 March 1981, thereby increasing the number from 16 to 17 inspectors. It is hoped to recruit a further two inspectors following a recent recruitment competition. A new recruitment competition will be mounted as soon as possible to bring the number of inspectors up to a total of 21.
