§ 33. Mr. Bowdenasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations he has received so far on the recent White Paper on the elderly entitled "Growing Older".
§ Sir. George YoungI have not so far received any representations, although there has been widespread comment in the press. The White Paper is intended to provide a stimulus to thought and action throughout the community and I hope it will be widely read, especially by those actively concerned with the welfare and interests of elderly people.
