§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, in the light of the concern felt by persons and organisations at the present methods of police investigating and reporting on alleged irregularities committed by the police, whether he will move to appoint a Select Committee of Privy Councillors to decide whether or not such complaints made by the police or aggrieved persons should be investigated by a Select Committee for police administration.
