§ Mr. LawsonThe present restriction of indexed gilts to United Kingdom pensions business has the effect of making them unavailable to non-residents. Although the prospectus allows for a possible widening of the eligibility criteria in the future, I would not at present wish to do so in such a way that would run the risk of attracting unwanted inflows.
