§ Mr. PattieThirty-three Chinook helicopters have been ordered for the Royal Air Force. Their cost is of the order of £3.5 million each. The total cost, including modifications and special trials required by the RAF, reserve engines and initial spares, is expected to amount to about £288 million. Deliveries are expected to be completed by mid-1982.
