Between June 1979 and Septmber 1980, the latest date for which information is available, the number of employees in employment in the North-West region fell by 102,000. The figures are provisional and are not seasonally adjusted. There are no employment estimates for Merseyside, Kirkby and Ormskirk for the period specified.
