§ Mr. Chris Pattenasked the Lord Privy Seal how many countries have now ratified the treaty on the nonproliferation of nuclear weapons.
§ Mr. HurdOn 26 February the Arab Republic of Egypt became the 115th country to deposit instruments of ratification. Her Majesty's Government warmly welcome this decision and hope that further countries will follow suit. Accession to the treaty should also facilitate civil nuclear trade with Egypt.
