§ 26. Mr. Palmerasked the Secretary of State for Energy what consultations he has had with the electricity supply industry about the effect on electricity prices in the context of the possible cancellation of the 1979 sales 210W agreement between the National Coal Board and the Central Electricity Generating Board in order to accomodate a ban or similar restrictions on coal imports.
§ Mr. Norman LamontMy right hon. Friend has invited the chairman of the CEGB to enter into commercial discussions with the NCB with a view to reducing the level of the board's coal imports. The discussions between the two boards are now taking place.
