§ Mr. John PattenThe Ormeau Park recreation centre which is being built by the Belfast city council with a grant from the Department of Education for Northern Ireland will have a 400 square metres hall catering for a wide variety of sports. Outdoor facilities will include a floodlit all-weather pitch, a kick-about area, and a children's play area. A range of equipment will be provided. The management of the centre will assess local demand for particular sports and make arrangements accordingly.
