§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe only indication available at this stage is that the area sown to winter barley in Great Britain by 1 December 1980 was up by 9 per cent. compared with 1 December 1979. But this may merely reflect a continuation of the trend from spring to winter sown varieties.
