§ Mr. W. Benyonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he has now agreed with the Housing Corporation the details of the new system for the control of housing association schemes in England which it will be required to operate from 1 April.
§ Mr. StanleyThe present system of double scrutiny by both the Department and the Housing Corporation of housing association projects funded by the Housing Corporation in England will end on 1 April. At that date a system of single scrutiny by the Housing Corporation will come into effect, subject to a memorandum of authorisation that has been issued to the corporation today.
