(2) whether, in view of the current levels of unemployment he will seek to ensure a shorter working day, working week and working life.
§ Mr. Peter Morrison[pursuant to his reply, 16 March 1981, c. 27]: No. Any action which raises unit labour costs would weaken the competitive position of British industry and have an adverse effect on employment.
