§ Mr. Ennalsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services, in view of the fact that two children's wards at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital which were fully equipped and ready for use in April 1980 remain unopened, if he will ensure that funds are available for these two wards to be opened and to release accommodation urgently needed for other patients in the area.
§ Dr. VaughanI have announced an increased cash allocation to the East Anglian regional health authority. It will be for the regional and area health authorities to decide the detailed use of this but I understand that, if the Norfolk area health authority receives the allocation it expects, it hopes to open the children's beds at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital shortly.
