Details of the rents paid, net of rent allowances, by privately renting unfurnished tenants in regions for 1978 and 1979 were provided in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Worcestershire, South (Mr. Spicer) on 19 December 1980.
Details of the domestic rates charged by each authority can be derived from"General Rate Poundages and Products (England and Wales) 1980–81" published by the Rating and Valuation Association, a copy of which is available in the House of Commons Library.
