§ Mr. YoungerThe Government are aware of the exciting opportunities opening up for industry in information technology, and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Industry is currently formulating our response to the recent report by the Advisory Council for Applied Research and Development. The strength and diversity of Scotland's electronics industry is already well recognised and leaves us wery well placed to take a substantial share of growing international markets.
