§ Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement on the progress on co-operation between the United Kingdom and the German Democratic Republic following the agreement signed by the Under-Secretary of State, the hon. Member for Ealing, Acton (Sir G. Young), in Berlin on 27 September 1979, relating to a new plan of co-operation under the United Kingdom—German Democratic Republic health agreement.
§ Sir George YoungFive visits have been arranged for United Kingdom specialists in medicine and public health, together with six visits to this country by specialists from the German Democratic Republic.
