§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for Employment what is his estimate of the number of school leavers in 1981 in the North-West, Merseyside, Kirkby and Ormskirk together with his estimate of the number in each case that will obtain full-time employment.
§ Mr. Peter MorrisonIt is estimated that approximately 90,000 school leavers will be available for work in the North-West in 1981. Comparable estimates for Merseyside, Kirkby and Ormskirk are not available. As in previous years the large majority of school leavers looking for work in these areas in 1981 are expected to find jobs.
