§ Mr. Grahamasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give the reasons why the Minister of State asked the president of the Royal Horticultural Society to admit up to only 20 disabled people on the Monday of Chelsea Flower Show.
§ Mr. RossiI understand that the president of the society undertook at its annual meeting that it would be as flexible as possible about the number of disabled members who could be admitted on the Monday of the show. My concern was to ensure that as many disabled persons as practicably possible be admitted, and various figures were considered in discussions. The Royal Horticultural Society is best placed to make a judgment as to precise numbers.
