§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithIn 1980, 95,632 tonnes of butter were imported from other member States of the European Community and 95,001 tonnes* from third countries. Of this last figure, 1 tonne was from Sweden and the remainder from New Zealand.
The current MCAs and import levies per tonne for butter imported into the United Kingdom are shown in the table below:
