§ Mr. MacfarlaneThe Science Research Council has an agreement with the South African Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, signed in December 1971, relating to the use of facilities at the South African astronomical observatory. I am aware of no agreements with the South African council on the part of other national scientific institutions within my right hon. and learned Friend's field of responsibility.
