§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department which organisations have been consulted over the possible effects on probation and bail hostels of the proposed devolution of responsibility for the probation and after-care service.
§ Mr. MayhewConsultations are in progress with the Central Council of Probation and After-Care Committees, the Conference of Chief Probation Officers, the National Association of Probation Hostels, the Association of County Councils, the Association of Metropolitan Authorities, the London Boroughs Association and the Greater London Council.
